The best answer is FOLLOW. MODERN and OLD-FASHIONED are antonyms – words that have opposite meanings. Therefore, the second pair of words must also be antonyms. FOLLOW is an antonym for LEAD.

2. ITCHY : SCRATCHY :: THROW : TOSS



The best answer is TOSS. The relationship between the first pair of words, ITCHY and SCRATCHY, is that of synonyms – words that have similar meanings. Therefore, the second pair of words must also be synonyms. TOSS is a synonym for THROW.

3. RULES : GAME :: WORDS : BOOK



The best answer is BOOK. RULES are part of a GAME. Therefore, in the second pair of words, one word must also be part of the other. WORDS are part of a BOOK.
