U.S. Constitution Resources for Teachers

The U.S. Constitution went into effect on September 17, 1789, so U.S. Constitution Week fall on September 17–23 each year. Use the printables, references, and lessons below to examine the significance of this document in American history. Teach your students about its writing and explore the meaning of democracy with cross-curricular activities for elementary, intermediate, and high school students.
