  Jackie Roliardi

Jackie Roliardi has her Master's Degree in Education and has worked in the fields of elementary education, special education and instructional technology. As a technology consultant, Ms. Roliardi conducts workshops for K-12 school administrators and teachers on the integration of technology in education. She is a former classroom teacher who has worked as a reading consultant and district manager in textbook and software publishing. She was also an education account executive in the hardware industry and currently consults with several hardware companies on staff development and technology integration issues. In addition, Ms. Roliardi is on the adjunct faculty at National Louis University where she teaches Technology in Education to future teachers.

Jackie Roliardi became interested in Technology in Education when she was working with remedial middle-grade students. She had been constantly searching for new ways to keep students interested and on task. When she saw that students working on a simple Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) program were deeply motivated to learn, she began to explore ways to use technology in her own classroom. She soon realized that technology provided her with new ways to engage and motivate her students.
