We hope your first few weeks back in school have been rewarding! Hopefully, the kids have settled back in and you are enjoying your new charges. Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 8-14) is the perfect opportunity to review fire safety rules, help students to create a Family Escape Plan, or share a related book with your class: Even Firefighters Hug Their Moms. Studying animal habitats is a core part of every science curriculum. Take a look at our Animal Adaptations Unit containing 13 lessons for grades K-8. Explore the rainforest through reading and writing activities or browse other habitat lessons to enrich your curriculum.
