Don J. Leu Jr.

Donald J. Leu Jr. is currently Professor of Education and Director of Doctoral Programs in Reading Education at Syracuse University's Reading and Language Arts Center. He also holds a joint appointment in the Department of Instructional Design, Development, and Evaluation in the School of Education.

Don teaches graduate courses in literacy education at Syracuse University, conducts research on reading and writing instruction with Internet technologies, and works with children, teachers, and school districts to support the transition to the new literacies of the Internet. He has published articles in a variety of journals, including Reading Research Quarterly, The Journal of Educational Psychology, Written Communication, The Journal of Reading Behavior (Journal of Literacy Research), The Reading Teacher, Language Arts, and Reading Online.
