April 2009, Vol. 2

Girl with Flower Dear Teacher,

May is Asian-Pacific-American Heritage Month. Integrate the study of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean customs, as well as other Asian and Pacific-American traditions, into your curriculum. Plus, get an idea about how many Americans fall into this cultural category.

The events of the Holocaust are commemorated each year in the spring. Teach the timeline of this horrific part of the world's history, which ethnic and social groups were persecuted, and how the Holocaust affected survivors with our literature guides, art activities, and emotional references.

Help your students show their moms how much they care this Mother's Day (May 10). We have templates for creating a variety of cards, printable coupon books, and related activities to celebrate the holiday.

Embrace your students' love of technology – from the Internet to PowerPoint presentations to online games – with the lessons and printables available on TeacherVision®.

Every teacher will benefit from our resources on the Art of Teaching, whether you've been a part of the profession for a year or 20. Explore our list of free field trips, behavior management forms, and more!

Best Wishes,
The Editors of TeacherVision.com
