Happy Independence Day! Students won't have trouble celebrating a holiday that involves cookouts and fireworks, but make sure they know the history behind the celebration – the birth of our country. Whether you're wrapping up the regular school year or teaching summer-school classes, we have activities and resources to make studying the Fourth of July enjoyable. Follow the holiday with a continued focus on American history to emphasize the importance of learning from experience.
