May 2009, Vol. 2

Student with notebooks Dear Teacher,

On June 14, 1777, the U.S. adopted the first version of our national flag. Celebrate this event on Flag Day. "Old Glory" features 50 stars and 13 stripes, representing all of our current states and the original American colonies.

Keep your students protected, whether they're in the school yard or at home. Teach first aid basics, ways to prepare for natural disasters, ways to avoid bullying, kitchen safety, germ prevention, and much more!

Show your students they don't have to fear word problems by working through these skill-building worksheets and lesson plans.

Most students require regular review of grammatical rules. From synonyms to punctuation to parts of speech, we have the materials that will help your class master the basic and more complicated aspects of English grammar.

Games and puzzles are a fun way to celebrate the end of the school year. They keep students engaged and interested and still allow you to teach and review necessary topics.

Best Wishes,
The Editors of TeacherVision.com
