Jimmy Dudley

Age: 89

radio announcer for the Cleveland Indians from 1948-67; greeted fans with signature line "Hello, baseball fans everywhere," and when the count was full, he would say "the string is out."; also broadcast Browns, Baltimore Colts and Ohio State football games in the 1950's; inducted into the broadcasters' wing of the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997. He died of a stroke.
