- The witch walks around the room and touches a child on the shoulder, saying "Come along, Dearie."
- The child follows the witch closely, like a shadow.
- When 4 to 6 children have been chosen, the witch leads them around the room. After a while, she turns suddenly and claps her hands in the air!
- At this signal, everyone runs back to their seats. The first child correctly seated becomes the new witch and the game continues.
Of course, this game can also be "Warlock's Shadows" . . . .
