August 2007, Volume 3

Math blocks Dear Teacher,

Encourage your students to take notice of the beautiful colors of the changing leaves and the refreshing temperature outside by incorporating the season of autumn into your lessons. We have cross-curricular printables, science activities, and more activities and lessons to explore the topic of autumn in any subject area.

Hispanic Heritage Month is September 15-October 15. Use these weeks to explore the Hispanic traditions, literature, and history that are vital components of American life.

No matter which grade you teach, your students would benefit from learning a foreign language, whether it's Spanish, Chinese, or sign language. Once they've learned a few words, they will undoubtedly be excited to learn even more!

Familiarize yourself with the art of teaching using our new slideshows. They will provide you with plenty of valuable tips from veteran teachers, and ideas you can use in your classroom tomorrow.

Best Wishes,
The Editors of TeacherVision.com
