July 2007, Volume 2

Dear Teacher,

Get off to a good start with your students' parents this year with our advice to parents. They will appreciate your help when it comes to things like study skills, reading improvement, and homework time.

Encourage your students to get to know each other on the first day of school this year with icebreakers. There are enjoyable activities and worksheets that will help your students introduce themselves to their classmates and you.

There are many different types of assessment you can use when evaluating student work. Our printables and guides will get you organized from day one, so that you'll be ready at report-card time!

Also in this issue: Women's Equality Day and Harry Potter mania!

Best Wishes,
The Editors of TeacherVision.com

The new movie! It's going to be the best one yet!
The new book! No movie can compare to a great book, and the final installment of this series will be no exception.
  Both -- I can't possibly choose. I'm a big Harry Potter fan.
Neither. I never really understood the Harry Potter craze.
