May 2007, Volume 2

Dear Teacher,

Keep your students learning over the long summer vacation by giving them plenty of activities to do. We have reading lists that are perfect for any grade level, a wide assortment of summer math printables, and many more summer-based resources for them to enjoy.

Flag Day is celebrated on June 14, so take this opportunity to incorporate a little American History into your lesson plans. Teach your class about the origin of the American flag, engage in art activities, and sing our national anthem to get your students into the patriotic spirit.

Don't forget: Father's Day is June 17. Encourage your students to create cards for their fathers -- or for other important role models.

Best Wishes,
From the Editors of TeacherVision.com
