The monetary unit in China is the yuan. The value of the yuan to the dollar changes frequently. For accuracy in solving the problems in this activity, check newspapers for the current rate. Otherwise, assume 90 yuan equal $1 American. Note: Yuan is shown as Y.

Solve the following problems to see how much money the family will spend.
