Yes. Improved technology and awareness have led doctors to identify the disorders more frequently. Yes, but I think that too many doctors and parents are attributing any behavioral problems to the disorders, and are too quick to prescribe or request medication. No, I haven't noticed an increase in the number of students being treated for ADD/ADHD, but I suspect more of my students should be diagnosed and treated.
